Un petit rappel rapide des règles de combat:

initiative: vitesse de l'arme + score de dextérité + score d'astuce + 1D

toucher: précision de l'arme + Dex+mélée (ou archerie, art-martial, bagarre, lancer) + spécialité éventuelle

dégâts: succès supplémentaire du jet de toucher + dommage de l'arme + force. Les 10 ne comptent pas double, minimum de dégâts = quintessence du PJ

parade: défense de l'arme (si utilisée) + Dex+mélée (ou esquive, art-martial, bagarre) + spécialité éventuelle

l'encaissement se fait avant les dégâts et après le jet de défense de l'adversaire.


initiative: speed of the weapon + Dex + wits + 1D

touch: accuracy of the weapon + Dex+melee (or martial-art, brawl, archery, thrown) + speciality

damages: extra successes + damage of the weapon + strength. 10 is not a double success, minimum damage = essence

parry: defense of the weapon + dex+melee (or martial art, dodge, brawl) + speciality

Apply soak before you roll the damage but after the defense of the opponent.

dans le power combat d'exalté j'ai vu hier une chose bien curieuse:

fist:

speed: 0
accuracy: +1
dmg: +0B
defense: +2
rate: 5

kick:

speed: -3
accuracy: +1
dmg: +3B
defense: -3
rate: 3

est-ce que ceci signifie que si l'on se bat à mains nues nous devons ajouter ces modificateurs aux scores de MA ou de bagarre ?
autre question: le rate de poing est de 5, celui de coup de pied est de 3, un perso peut-il monter jusqu'à 8 actions dans le round (hypothétiquement) ?

I have seen something very strange in the exalted power combat:

fist:

Do we add these numbers to MA or brawl when we fight unarmed ?
other question: the rate of fist is 5, the one of kick is 3, could we go to 8 actions in a single round ?

NOPE!!!

Les rates ne se cumulent pas! si un rate inférieur est utilisé dans les groupement de dés de combat, on se bloque sur la cadence la plus basse.

Mais par contre, OUI, les ajustements sont pris en compte pour le combat à main nue (ou à pied nu!!).

You can't add the rates, if you use in a turn a weapon with an inferior rate, you have to use the most inferior rate for the round.

But, yes, you add the modifications of the unarmed combat to martial arts and brawl.

donc en gros à main nues t'es maintenant plus fort... c'est boeuf comme jeu quand même, c'est jess qui va être contente quand elle va apprendre ça (elle joue un maître d'arts martiaux dans ma campagne)

so, now, bare hands you're even stronger... it's violent that game, it's jess who will be happy when she'll know that !!!

I have think about the rate of the weapons and the number of actions you can take...

I don't see why a character should not be able to do 1 attack with his tetsubo and then kick his enemy twice? It just do 3 actions, 1 (max limit for his tetsubo) and then +2 with his feet...

If someone wants to do a whirlwind of actions and do: 5 fist actions and 3 kicks actions, he should be able to do it, but it still is a total of 8 actions, so -8 for the first one, and -15 for the second one...

It is Exalted after all, not AD&D!!!!!

So for my campaign it will be like that, there is no limit of actions you can take in a turn, but the limit of actions you can take with one weapon is limited by the rate of the weapon.

Now of course, if someone carries a Grand Daiklave, does 3 actions with it and then tell me he is doing 4 fist actions, he better do a stunt to explain! : )
