There is small gallery of some of the Palace of Hundred Lotus' favourite guests.

Some were terrible enemies, others were friends, but they were all specials and they will be remembered for a long time!

Dame Ming-Ming

Haughty and impulsive she has mi-long black hair streaked with grey with Long steel needles crossed her chignon and some prayers stripes are bounded to these needles. She is in her early thirties, and usually wears quite provocative dresses: open on the side and showing her belly and a plunging neckline. Her clothes are always the finest quality and look like spider silk.

Dame Ming-Ming is always followed by many servants and a very keen eye would see a shadow as well, undetectable for a human eye, moving in the nest of her followers. She carries no weapons but she has a beautiful steel tiara, glowing with purple and blue glints.
Dame Ming-Ming’s grey look is a piercing one, she can see through your soul and your destiny.

Brilliant Book of Serenity, Sidereal of the Maiden of Secrets

A tall slim woman with integrally blue eyes and long curly brow hair, decorated with prayer strips. She wears a light-cream kimono with ivory astrological patterns. She has a Traditional but beautiful green silk belt. She obviously hides a little object in her sleeves.

She always carries a wooden script and a real old brown leather-bound spell-book linked to her kimono’s belt by a small chain. The complex pattern on the cover seems to move when you don’t look straight at it.

Everything is hidden with Brilliant Book of Serenity, her gestures hide her thoughts and even her kimono’s patterns seem to move from time to time.

This Sidereal tried to talk Sleeping Steel in killing Sir Rovax which is her oldest and most dangereous enemy.

Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald, Kameneko Vneef, Wood-aspect Dragon-Blooded

Dynast in her forties, graceful and distinguished she carries her noble birth in every gesture. Class and beautiful she has black long hair with greenish glints, she wears in complex chignons. Her square face is sometimes framed by locks wisely arranged to appear untidy. Her deep-green eyes seldom show any emotion.

“Conceptual simplicity and structural complexity” are her master words.

She usually wears a long light-green silk robe with clearer floral pattern, ornamental green and white jade bracers and a loose-fitting coat with a broad hood.
Since the attack on her person by a Nemessary she carries a small jade Daiklave, given by one of her Yojimbos (Body Guards).

These two formidable Dragon-Blooded warriors are earth aspected; they carry heavy white-jade tetsubos and white-jade earth armours. Bonded by an ancient spell cast by Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald’s father they are constantly affected to her protection. They do not need to sleep or rest for duration of 101 years.

Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald is conscious of her high breeding and lineage she will transmit to her children, even if she is in exile because of her father’s politic acts.
She is a scholar and a natural-born administrator; some even say she had learned some interesting things at the Heptagram, the Realm’s sorcerer school… She may have been cast away because of these things…

The first meeting between Sleeping Steel and Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald happened few years ago in the Chanta Republic, far in the Eastern forests. In a big forest town the Solar Exalted and his friends had to deal with the attacks of Chrysogona, demon-spiders, creating nightmares in their victim’s spirits.

They realized the attacked came from a Dragon-Blooded house of the Vneef family. They decided to investigate, in few days they found that the head of the house, Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald was under the influence of a member of the Cynis family and his ally, her own son, Vneef Zephiro. This last had sent the demons to the Exalts.

The decided to intervene, breaking in an orgy prepared by the Cynis, they freed Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald and brought her back to her palace, it was the first time Sleeping Steel saw the beautiful Dragon-Blooded’s naked body, he fell in love at the first look.

Back to the Vneef’s Mansion, they realized that Zephiro was not only conspiring against her mother but he was also an infernalist, a puppet in the hands of the Yozis.
Sleeping Steel didn’t take time to think about it, he rushed in Vneef Zephiro’s apartment and killed this one in one powerful attack.

It appeared that a Wyld Hunt had been sent to kill Vneef Zephiro, but they arrived too late, the Warstrider and the Immaculate Monk were not pleased but their business in Chanta was over, they promised the Solars they would come back for them…

After this terrible event, Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald travelled back to the Blessed Isle. But Sleeping Steel never forgot her. He sent her many presents from the different places he visited for years. And she politely answered back, giving some priceless advices. She even sent him some manuscripts from the Realm libraries about the ancient Art of War.

And, while Sleeping Steel was slowly supervising the construction of the Palace of Hundred Lotus, she arrived with servant and her two Yojimbos. After the purges in the Blessed Isle she found safer to travel to the Threshold and she came to put herself under Sleeping Steel’s protection.

The Solar was incredibly happy and accepted very fast. From this moment they stayed together. Sleeping Steel wooed the Dragon-Blooded, treating her as the important lady she really is. When the Palace was finished she received one of the biggest apartment on the top of the Palace, very close to Sleeping Steel’s one.
The Palace’s master asked her to take care of a shrine crafted for a Tree-God who died the same year not far.

Recently, a Nemessary possessed Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald just for the pleasure to upset and trouble Sleeping Steel, hopefully the ghost was exorcised by Immaculate Monks and he did not succeed in killing the Dragon-Blooded. After this awful episode the Solar and Pale Chrysanthemum of Emerald decided to marry each other.

Lord Rovax, Father of Crows, Voice of Raitons and Master of Dire Birds

Rovax humanoid body reaches 7 feet, but if you add the two pairs of night like black wings he is actually closer to 15 feet high...
With a wingspan of 6 yards he is quite impressive and disturbing.
His body is covered with black feathers and his blade-sharp beak makes him look like even more dangerous.
His black round eyes glow with an inhuman malice and intelligence hiding treasures and secrets long forgotten by humans and gods
He wears a long Katana with a blue and silver hilt, and a light-blue and white kimono. The Mon (Japanese symbol) on the back of this kimono is stylised crow.

Lord Rovax impresses by his look and by his higher purpose, he carries Humanity’s grief on his shoulders and think of himself as a martyr. His motto could be: “I do as I have to”.

Gods have mostly forgotten their duties… Who shall become the keeper of our dignity and purpose?
