| Description. 21 years old, female, long black hair, light grey eyes, tanned skin. Home town : Kirighast. Young and beautiful woman with big lovely grey eyes that lighten her face. Slender and thin boned. Her kindness shows on her face.
Story. Etheral Whisper was born in a poor family, in a little fishermen village close to Kirighast. At twelve, she found a lost baby vouivre on the cliffs. She raised the strange animal. Four years later, a merchant of the Guild who was resting in the village offered a lot of money for the animal. She refused. Angry, the merchant sent mercenaries in order to take slaves and the vouivre. Luckily for her, Etheral Whisper was riding her friend at the moment of the attack. When she came back to the village, she found only ashes and a few slained corpses. For three years, she looked for her family, travelling in the scavenger lands. She finally found them near the great city of Nexus. Only her father and her little sister have survived, her father, badly injured. She succeeded to free them, killing two guards, but her father died a few days later. Just after this event, her vouivre brought her to a strange place, a tomb where she found a weird black armor. When she touched the dark object, she felt burned. A great light falled on her. Now, she is travelling from place to place, acting as a messenger and trying to find a good place for her little sister, Blue Salt.

| Description
Silken Phoenix is a late 50s ascetic, he is shaved and bears a long white moustache and goatee of the Shogunate style. He only wears simple woolen garments and walks in sandals or barefoot. There is something about him that radiates awe and peace. Most of people trust him after one glance. He has a deep and warm voice. The man has no pupil or iris, his eyes are totally golden, as if one was looking at a mystical sunshine.
Background
Silken Phoenix was born a slave near Lookshy, he never had any family or friends, only evil or less evil masters. He lived a life of servitude till he reached his 20. Then, he was bought by a noble man from a small realm in the North. This man, Humble Sunrise, sent him to many academies because he wanted a new teacher for his children. It took ten years but Silken Phoenix finally became an instructed man. He lived a peaceful life for another 5 years. One day, in his master's garden, one of his students was killed by a commando of armed men, these men were sent by an enemy of Humble Sunrise. In his wrath, the noble had Silken Phoenix' eyes removed, a punishment for not having able to save his son. During the torture, when pain was in every nerve of his body, Silken Phoenix found a conforting and relieving belief: he had done his best to save the child! He suddenly felt better in forgiving Humble Sunrise. The day after this terrible event, Humble Sunrise came to him and apologized, he was not an evil man... He freed Silken Phoenix who walked away peacefully, free for the first time of his life. The same night, he began to experience prescient dreams. Following his instinct he found a holy man named The Giver, an ermit, an ascetic who lived in a cave in the mountains of the north. The man taught him a non-violent philosphy, the ancient art of curing diseases and a runic divination method. He stayed 10 years with the holy man before this one died of old age.
He then moved from the cavern to help lonely communities in the north, there he saved the life of an agent of the Haslanti league, a man named Auspicious Spear who was slowly dying from a painful poison.
During his travels he found an ancient valley where people were worshipping the Unconquered Sun, a place forgotten by the whole world. There, he stayed more than a decade, learning the philosophy of the First Age's Faith, he studied under the direction of Scarlet Keeper, the priest, in the old library of the valley he learned many secrets. But one night, they had finally been discovered, a Wyld Hunt came on them and slaughtered all the people.
Left in a pool of his own blood, dying, he felt again this awesome feeling, conforting him, he heard the voice of the Unconquered Sun, telling him a had done well, the voice asked him to spread His word and to protect the weak against the mighty. He woke up unharmed the next midday, his forehead burning like fire. Since this day, he always found the Sun God guiding him through visions, drawing his attention to many places, in one he found the Staff of True Holiness. In another one he helped a powerful spirit to regulate the weather in Creation, gaining a mighty ally in Yu-shan.

| Description
Forest Crane is 6 feet tall, with green eyes, and skin of a slightly greenish tinge, with a bark-like growth around his shoulders, he has no hair, as is expected of monks of the immaculate faith, he wears a plain robe with a Martial arts belt around his waist, bearing a hearthstone. He wears bracers on his wrists, which look like stone wrapped around them, these again bear a hearthstone each, he appears powerful, even though he also appears reasonable.
Background
Mnemon Mokato (Forest Crane) was born into a very good life, the son of a very well known general, who taught him from an early age of the importance the immaculate faith had upon them all. His family was known to provide sons to the Order, and many of his relatives and ancestors have been monks. He was born in Nishimo as his family felt it would be good to stay close to the good schools, especially as they expected him to do his best at everything he did, his father did not condone failure, so much so that when his older brother Mnemon Birimo failed to succeed in any of his endeavours or learning his father disowned the boy, leaving him to fend for himself in life.
Mokato realised this should not be the outcome of his life and applied himself to success, so his life was hardly what you could call fun, as for his mother, she was someone he saw very little of, raised mainly by his wet nurse and servants, people he later begun to feel sorry for, and feel much closer to, compared to his family these people had nothing, yet they remained, for the most part, happy, he did however keep these feelings hidden for he knew his father would not approve. So he grew, and grew strong through his excercises in his early school days, martial arts were taught, but he excelled in comparison to his classmates, so much so that even though his size was a lot smaller than the other boys, he still commanded a level of respect from them, a pity then that his skills in other areas weren't so good, riding for example was one of his weaker points, and he was often known to fall at the least opportune moments, but he was good enough to reach success. Another thing he wished he had been taught was how to play music, because his father basically felt musicianship was not the kind of thing his son would learn, possibly because of his brothers path in life, Mokato loved music, but unfortunately he was completely unable to produce anything but noise through any instrument.
Any failure for him led to frustration, because surely if he could do all these things, playing an instrument was not a problem, he worried about this till he was sent to the school of learning and lore in Portee, there he learnt all about the spirit courts, and most interestingly to him, the religion and history of the dragon blooded and the Blessed Isle, and particularly the problem of the Anathema, this was something he took most interest in, and belief in, he thought th propaganda sprea about Anathema was the gospel truth, and would fight to ensure everyone else believed the same. His growth impressed his father, who made sure to send his son to the Cloister of Wisdom, he was happy his son appeared to be bringing honour upon his family once more.
The Cloister produced the best experience of his life so far, where he learned about mediatation, and how to manipulate essence, with this training became a greater inner peace with his anger. Even the idea of living like a monk left him cold for only a moment, reasoning that it was almost the same as living like a servant, as he had admired so in the past, he hoped it would teach him a litle humility, and maybe acceptance not only that but his learning here would prepare him in a greater way for the outside world, all the skills were learned easily, unfortunately one boy felt that Mnemon Mokato was a bad person, this boy was caled Ledaal Tomoko, and he tried his hardest to make the life of Mokato hard.
Around this time Mokato noticed his teachers were actong strangely, one day overhearing a conversation about a group of monks hunting Anathema near Lords Crossing, a place Mokato knew because his brother was last seen there, the Anathema in question had helped a village, protected them, yet still the monks would take him, unfortunately Tomoko was also there, and immediately alerted the teachers to the eavesdropper, Mokato was then dragged away to be punished and when he later tried to speak to Tomoko, he was told his family had done bad things to Tomoko's, and so Tomoko was taking it upon himself to ensure that Mokato would go through the same experience, his father would not elaborate further when asked, so Mokato had no idea what his father had done to this family.
Very shortly after this Mokato was summoned to see his mother, who told him that his brother had been killed. He was in a village, where the people were in great danger, when suddenly a large man came, and solved their problems, however, he could not stop all of the attackers, some escaped, and went straight to the immaculate order, caling a Wyld Hunt on the town, his brother was killed because he chose to protect the man who it turned out was an Anathema, he was taken, and a lesson was made of him to all Dragon Blooded, that anyone caught protecting Anathema would be executed without prejudice, his fathers response was less interesting, saying that his brother was a disgrace to the family name, but he was glad when not long after the death of his oldest son, his youngest had become exalted, he knew then his son must become an immaculate monk, so he could raise the family name back to decency.
So he eventually joined the immaculate faith, he took training in the wood dragon martial art style, all the while for the first few years he was wary of Ledaal Tomoko, who occasionally passed him and looked as though he was prepared to hurt him, but had to hold back as an attack on a monk would be beyond reprehensible. Eventually though he learnt to ignore the trivialities of the outside world and let himself slip to peace, but after so many years in the monastery he needed to travel, he needed to see things, and so he went to a more senior monk, and told him this fact. The other monk, an earth dragon martial artist named Crumbling Mountain, and he told Mokato that if he did go, he should not take the word of the order that Anathema were all bad, he should try to keep an open mind, and not treat them as outcasts as the faith suggests. Mokato could not believe this, a senior monk, not only going against the faith, but breaking the Central Tenet by doing so, Mokato had no choice but to report this to the master and shortly after, Crumbling Mountain was stripped of rank and robe, before he left, he let Mokato know, that he would not be this easy to get rid of.
Shortly after this Mokato was sent to a small village called Feather to investigate the disappearance of around 50 people from it and three other villages, one village in the center of the four had no disappearances at all reported. Forest Crane realised somehow that this village called Long Shadow must have something to do with it, and when he got there, he could tell there was something out of place, he eventually realised that all of the craftsmen were very bad at their jobs, as well as the peasants. He also noticed shadowy figures were appearing in the night and sneaking around, he killed, or thought he killed two of them, and then found out they were coming from the well, one trip to the well in daytime told him there must be something down there, as the villagers were very tense while he climbed down it, so he waited til nightfall and climbed down, finding a secret passage leading to a Ninja hideout, then he knew what was going on, some sneaking led him to the master of this school, which was the school of the scorpion, he defeated the master with ease, finding out he was responsible for the disappearances, then wiped out around 200 ninjas, some escaped and they will forever remember him as the Scorpions Bane, his masters were very pleased with this outcome, and it led to better things for him., however me made a vow to himself that this scorpion school would need to be destroyed, before they could do any serious harm.
Mokato was eventually allowed to roam, and eventually took on the name Forest Crane, because while walking he saw the most beautiful crane, and felt he should respect the wood dragon in remembrance of this moment, from that time onward, he roamed, often returning to the order to se if any orders were passed to him, after five years he was called back, and his master sent him on an important journey to the east.

| Description:
Moonlit River is 25 yrs old, with long deep brown hair, near black eyes and asian complexion. She's about 5"6, slim and athletic in appearance. She mainly wears stately kimono's suitable for court, but sometimes wears plain kimono's to blend in a little better with others. On all her clothes she wears a small silver dragon brooch for luck. She appears charming.
Background:
She was brought up in Nexus within a reasonably wealthy family; her father was a merchant. Her childhood was normal, and she developed her greedy streak from her father and her nose for business. Her parents were quite hard on her for the most part and showed little affection, which in some ways is why she became the person she is.
Everything remained normal until her 14th yr, when she went with her father to make a deal with some prospective buyers. They left the city, arriving at the meeting place aorund sunset, and there were the three men, waiting. Her father stepped down from his horse, motioning Moolit River to stay where she was, and approched the men. He'd taken the merchandise with him, which was a mistake, as the three men had not come to make a deal. The men slaughtered him. She sat there stunned, unbable to move for a moment;until she saw them beginning to turn towards her brandishing their sharp knives. She bolted for her life. Just outside the city gates, she collapsed from her horse. And that was the moment she became exalted, although she didn't find that out until later. For weeks the family strove for justice, but with no success, and over those weeks Moonlit River noticed things happening around her that could not be explained. She became very curious, and searched for an explanation. ( I'l rewrite this, cos it's a bit doconected, but that's it so far. ) |

| Descrption:
Crystal Rose of the Crimson Star is a 24 year old, with mid length dark blond hair. She's 5'10, and wears an expensive looking red and black long dress with gold detail and matching hooded cloak. Crystal Rose also wears a black jade heart pendant, which she never takes off.
Background:
When she was a girl her father, who was a member of the guild, was always working away. This meant that she was brought up mainly by her grandfather as her mother had died when she was only 4. It was from him that she learnt to respect, even admire beings of the spiritual world. She adored her father and always looked forward to his return. Until one day a messenger came and told of how he had been struck down by an illness. Crystal Rose went to visit him, but only just got there in time to hold his hand as he passed away. This brought her even closer to her grandfather, and intensified her interests in the spiritual world. This is partly the reason she joined the guild and dedicated her life to her work.
When she was eighteen she started spending more and more time working and less time at home with her grandfather. One day when she was returning home after having been away for two weeks she came upon the house and noticed something strange, when she approached the door it was open just enough for her to be able to witness the events unfolding inside. There were three thieves robbing her grandfather, one was holding him while the other two were searching the room. Just as they went to leave one of the thieves that was searching the room truned and slit her grandfathers throat. Crystal Rose then hid until it was almost dark then she ventured into the house to sit beside his body. Just after this when she was feeling as if her world was over she became exalted, although it took her some months to realise what had happened.
At first she was disgusted with herself but now she has come to enjoy if not love her new abilities.
