Alveua, Keeper of the Forge of Night, the expressive soul of that which calls to the shadows, demon of the second circle.
Alveua cursed a First Age Solar once, Kebok Lion, she forbade the sorcerer to craft any metal or material with a dark colour. After ten years of failures in many different tasks, Kebok Lion decided to get rid of the demon. He tried to find a way to contain her. When he discovered the Orichalcum mine he saw an opportunity.
There he crafted a special prison and he summoned Alveua. After a short fight, the sorcerer was ready and mighty, he defeated her and bonded her with orichalcum chains. Then he designed a special artifact, a steel mirror to glow as a mighty sun for the eternity and sapped her powers.
After all this work, he sealed the place with thousands of spells and wards and finally he buried it under the mine, forgotten for ages…
For millenniums Alveua tried to escape her prison, she transformed slowly the cave where she was bonded in night steel, extending her domain very close to the dreadful mirror, then, with her mighty powers and magic the crafted a door, as dark as the night to protect her from the glow of the artifact, it took her centuries. Once shielded from the light of the sun, she began to craft insects, but her bonds were still too strong, she needed to destroy the magical seals before freeing herself.
Other centuries passed again, her insidious magic finally broke the most important seals; then, her insects began to free her, working on her chains day and night.
One of the demons who were bonded with her escaped and searched for blood, he possessed miners and slaughtered their families, involving Solar Exalted who were living not far.
When these ones, finally reach her, Alveua with free from her bonds but her magical travel capacities were still disabled by the prison protection. She fought the Exalts and was banished from Creation for a century… But what is a century of exile after millenniums of containment?
She swore she would find Kebok Lion’s soul and devour it and she’ll take revenge of the Solars who killed her, even if they finally freed her…
